Winner of Winners in Dorset Tourism Awards!

We recently attended the spring party of the 2021/22 Dorset Tourism Awards enjoyed at Sculpture by the Lakes. We were expecting to pick up three awards which were awarded back in February via zoom.

Three additional awards were awarded on the night and to our surprise and delight we were also awarded Winner of Winners! Presenting the Winner of Winners award, organiser Robin Barker said: “There are no set criteria for this award but one entrant won in several categories and has now gone on to be a national finalist.

“A fabulous exemplar to others, they won a gold award for Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism, a further gold for Visitor Information and bronze for Small Visitor Attraction. The Winner of Winners is West Bay Discovery Centre.”

Being described as ‘a fabulous exemplar to others’ by the awards organiser means a great deal to us. We wouldn’t be so successful without the great support of our volunteers and the partnerships that we have with a number of organisations and individuals.”
