West Bay Discovery Centre’s shop is a treasure trove of gifts, souvenirs and books relating to our inspiring exhibitions and the local area of West Bay, and is a great place to pick up a unique memento of your visit to this popular location.
Local and sustainable products
Sourcing from local and national makers, designers and artists, West Bay Discovery Centre’s small retail area offers a unique product range. It includes home-ware, greetings cards, handmade soap,jewelley clothing and books as well as classical children’s gifts, books, pocket money toys and local trail leaflets. We have a great selection of maps, books and guides to help you make the most of your visit, together with a wide range of souvenirs to remind you of your time in this inspiring part of the world.
We also have greeting cards from local artists Sam Cannon, Chris Neaves, Neil Barnes, Barbara Green and Jools Woodhouse. Our colourful and special postcards are produced from original paintings by Les Hawkins who was born in West Bay.
Our popular sea themed T shirts are produced by local screen printers Spiral Screen Printing. Emma Pawley a Bridport-based local designer and artist produces our popular West Bay hand painted pebble magnets. We have handmade local soap produced by Dorset-born medical herbalist Catherine Marshall.
We have just expanded our T Shirt range with these “I’ve been crabbing in West Bay” Children’s T Shirts which come in Ages from 3 -11 years.
