Our free, family-friendly visitor centre is packed with hands-on activities, fascinating local stories, and plenty of seaside fun that brings West Bay to life.
Hands-on Fun for All Ages
Families love our interactive displays — from building a giant jigsaw cliff to discovering sea creatures in our “hidey-hole”, finding out how ice creams were sold in the past, and spotting wildlife from Lyme Bay.
Whether it’s a rainy day or a sunny seaside outing, the Discovery Centre is the perfect place to explore together.

We also run special activities during school holidays, which are always a hit with visitors of all ages.

📅 Plan Your Visit
We’re open Tuesday to Sunday, 11am–4pm, and admission is free.
Our Centre is buggy and wheelchair accessible, and our friendly volunteers are always happy to help.
