We look forward to welcoming you to West Bay Discovery Centre. We are free to visit and no booking is required. The centre is accessible to buggy and wheelchair users and well behaved dogs are welcomed unless it is extremely busy.
Opening Times
Autumn Opening Hours 1st September- 3rd November 2024 Tuesday – Sunday 11am – 4pm. (Open Bank Holiday Mondays only.)
Winter Opening Hours 9th November – 16th March 2025 we are usually open weekends in November, February, and March. We also open between Christmas & New Year and February half term.

We are completely free to visit. You can help us discover new exciting stories to share in our seasonal exhibitions. Please consider making a donation by cash or card when you visit. Simply tap your debit or credit card on our Donation terminal next to the shop till.

Getting there
West Bay Discovery Centre is located in the former Methodist Chapel close to the harbour.You can find us adjacent to the Bridport Arms Car Park on East Beach.
