West Bay is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty we are grateful to Dorset National Landscape   formarly Dorset AONB for supporting the costs of producing two new free trails around West Bay. Highlighting wild flowers and wildlife to look out for on the walk, the walk sheets are freely available from the Discovery Centre or can be downloaded below.

West Bay Discovery Walks – Route 1 Exploring the West Cliff and Eype

This 2.5 mile walk (4 kms) takes you along the coast path to Eype before turning back inland along ancient lanes.

West Bay Discovery Walks Route 2 –Exploring the River Brit and the Old Railway Walk

This 2mile (3km) walk starts from the West Bay Discovery Centre and explores the lower reaches of the River Brit and returns via the old railway path and East Beach.
