Guided Walks in West Bay 2026 season

The Discovery Centre’s popular Thursday morning walking programme around West Bay returns for the summer on Thursday 7 May, beginning with a special guided walk led by an Environment Agency Coastal specialist. This walk will offer a fascinating insight into how West Bay’s flood defences have been designed to protect people and property from the growing impact of severe storm events.

The full programme of Discovery Centre walks explores the area’s rich heritage and diverse wildlife, with most walks led by the Centre’s knowledgeable and friendly volunteers.

Walks take place every Thursday at 11 am, starting from the Centre, and cost £5 per person.
