Winter Exhibition 2022: Memories of West Bay

Our exhibition over the winter invited our visitors to relive their “West Bay Memories”. The exhibition used photographs and stories that have been shared with the Centre by local people and visitors. Many of our film clips and images came from holiday makers who were more likely to have captured those special moments. They captured a sense of West Bay in living memory and featured events such as happy holidays, fires and floods, and included local characters from days gone by.

The exhibition presented an opportunity for local people to help preserve the history and stories of West Bay, and we were delighted with the interest that was generated. The additional new stories and images have been added to our archive and can be shared with our visitors in future displays or posts.
