West Bay Discovery Centre’s 3rd Birthday

West Bay Discovery Centre is celebrating its third birthday today (1^st August). In those three years we’ve welcomed 35,000 visitors, hopefully informing and inspiring many of them to explore all that’s best about Bridport, West Bay and the surrounding area. We’ve gained recognition as the Best New Dorset Tourism Business (although, of course, we are a charity) and not least saved a listed building that was considered at risk and brought it back into purposeful use.

We’ve put on exhibitions, events, concerts and talks and we’ll keep experimenting and hopefully improving what we offer.  So we would like to thank all of our supporters and everyone who has been involved in the Discovery Centre, not least our volunteers who have contributed around 10,000 hours of time, to date. The Centre’s success is down to you all – thank you !
