South West Tourism Awards Finalist 2021/22

The finalists of this year’s South West Tourism Tourism Awards have been announced and West Bay Discovery Centre is amongst the finalists in the ‘ Ethical, Sustainable and Responsible and Sustainable Tourism.’ This guarantees the Centre either a gold, silver, bronze award at the finals on the Thursday 7th April 2022. It has been a challenging two years since the last first face to face celebration of the South West Tourism Awards in February 2020 just before Covid struck. To have been selected from across the South West’s six counties and Bristol and Bath is a real honour.

Our small team of manager and volunteers are very excited that once again it looks as though the Centre will gain recognition from the award judges for our achievements. Running an ethical and sustainable operation has always be at the core of everything we do. Many congratulations to the other finalists in all categories, several being in our immediate West Dorset area, we are delighted to have @dorsetforestgardenglamping joining us again in our category.
