West Bay Discovery Centre Wins Bronze at the Dorset Tourism Awards 2026

We’re delighted to announce that West Bay Discovery Centre has been awarded Bronze in the Best Small Visitor Attraction category at the Dorset Tourism Awards!

This recognition celebrates the hard work, enthusiasm and dedication of our wonderful volunteers, who help bring West Bay’s rich history, stories and heritage to life for visitors of all ages.

Housed in the historic Chapel on the Beach, our free-entry Discovery Centre invites visitors to explore the people, places and events that have shaped West Bay, through fascinating local stories, interactive displays and hands-on activities.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, supporters and everyone who visits the Centre and helps make it such a special part of the West Bay community. Many thanks to our sponsors Resort Dorset ,who do so much to promote tourism in Dorset.
